OESA /SCAC South Carolina Regional Supplier Meeting

The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) and South Carolina Automotive Council (SCAC) invite suppliers to attend the OESA/SCAC South Carolina Regional Supplier Meeting on

May 31, 2017. The event will be held at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville, S.C.

Tom Lehner, Vice President, Public Policy, Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), will review how the new administration is directing the automotive industry as well as how the MEMA Washington, D.C., team is advocating for automotive suppliers.

Jeff Schuster, Senior Vice President, Global Forecasting, LMC Automotive, will discuss the current Global and North American sales and production outlook, and the opportunities that the new administration may bring to the forecast.

A panel of automotive suppliers and industry experts will share innovations being implemented as a part of “Industry 4.0.” Lead by moderator Brian Daugherty, CTO, MEMA, the panel includes Lance Ferguson, director of innovation, Jtekt/Koyo, Dr. Venkat Krovi, Michelin Endowed Chair Professor of Vehicle Automation, Clemson University, Vergil Norrod, Plant Manager, Bridgestone and Mark Ratcliffe, Manager of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering, Bosch.

The day will conclude with a presentation from Richard Morris, Vice President New Vehicle Project Integration, BMW, sharing insights into program schedules, how suppliers can interface with BMW, and future plans.
